About the Position:
This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the US Army Special Operations Command, DCS, G-2, Security Division at Fort Bragg, NC.

Serves as a Junior Staff Officer at the Army Service Combatant Command (ASCC) level, and is responsible for assisting the Security Manager in the development, staffing, publication and implementation of U.S. Army Special Operations Command (USASOC) policies related to various security programs. These programs include, but are not necessarily limited to: U.S. Army Information Security Program (INFOSEC, AR380-5); Industrial Security (DoD 5220-22-M;NISPOM); and the Foreign Disclosure Program (FDP, AR 380-10). As necessary and within guidelines established by the USASOC Security Manager, provides guidance and advice to subordinate commands and units about the security programs listed above.
