BASIC QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENT
Successfully completed a full 4-year course of study leading to a Bachelor's or higher degree in Engineering in a school of engineering with at least one program accredited by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) NOTE: You must submit copies of your transcripts.

Successfully completed a full 4-year course of study leading to a Bachelor's or higher degree in Engineering that included differential and integral calculus and courses (more advanced than first-year physics and chemistry) in five (5) of the following seven (7) areas of engineering science or physics: (a) statics, dynamics; (b) strength of materials (stress-strain relationships); (c) fluid mechanics, hydraulics; (d) thermodynamics; (e) electrical fields and circuits; (f) nature and properties of materials (relating particle and aggregate structure to properties); and (g) any other comparable area of fundamental engineering science or physics, such as optics, heat transfer, soil mechanics, or electronics. Completed 60 semester hours of courses in the physical, mathematical and engineering sciences, and in engineering that included the courses specified in B above. This experience must include activities such as: (1) performing operations and maintenance (O&M) engineering involving maintenance, repair, upgrade and operation of electrical circuits, equipment, and systems; (2) managing the O&M plans and programs for mission essential electrical generation and distribution systems through the installation; (3) managing and overseeing O&M electrical projects to ensure equipment and systems conform to performance requirements and meet and support mission requirements and goals; and (4) managing construction projects for construction, renovations, and improvements to real property facilities from start to finish.
