Recreational programming includes, but is not limited to: Open Swimming at Splash! and West Beach, Water Aerobics, SCUBA Courses, Lifeguarding and other Health & Safety Certification Courses, Joint Ventures with CYSS for EDGE program components and SKIES Youth Swimming Lessons, and a Youth Swim Team (parent-run, non-profit, post-approved organization).

Supervises and manages the aquatic programs with direction from the Director of Fitness and Athletics. Plans and administers a wide range of fairly typical, conventional and well-established basic aquatic activities. Plans and coordinates details for reoccurring and nonrecurring aquatic, fitness, instructional and joint community programs.
Coordinates with the MWR marketing department to publicize aquatic events, and continuously evaluates the effectiveness of aquatic programs. Prepares annual, quarterly and monthly budget input including UFR updates and request for special funding. Develops and update of the Standard Operating Procedures for the aquatic facilities, programs and enforces policies. Assists the Director of Fitness and Athletics with data collection for the DOD and DA MWR standard reports.Solicits volunteer and contract services for aquatic program. Interviews and selects such staff and provides them with required orientation, training and management in order to meet all activity needs.
