The mission of the Fleet and Family Readiness (FFR) Programs team is to maximize the physical, emotional and social development of the Navy family. FFR enables a ready Navy force through its Fleet Readiness, Family Readiness and Housing Programs. We service all non-appropriated fund (NAF) employees who work for Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR), Navy Gateway Inns & Suites (NGIS) and Bachelor Housing (BH) throughout the Fleet and Family Readiness Program for the Naval District Washington (NDW) Region.

The incumbent is involved in one or more recreational activities. Provides oversight of activity and necessary services to authorized patrons, including general information on the use of equipment. Provides information concerning facilities and operation. Ensures adherance to regulations and safety procedures. Monitors and checks the security of premises. May assist in maintaining routine reports and/or perform clerical, custodial and/or general maintenance duties as needed. May operate a cash register, receive payments and make change. Performs other related duties as assigned.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
This position is subject to completion of a satisfactory background check in accordance with NAVFAC policy.
Previous experience as a cashier desired. , Must have the ability to make simple mathematical calculations, to make proper change and must be able to follow directions. MUST BE AT LEAST 18 YEARS OF AGE, in order to complete National Agency Check for cash handling and use of Rec Trac system. Must be able to learn MWR policies, rules and regulations involving the work area, and have the ability to communicate orally and in writing.
