The Information Technology (IT) Division is responsible for the planning, development and management of the information technology systems and subsystems that support District of Columbia Courts case flow, office automation, special programs, and management operations. The IT Division designs and administers system configuration and architecture.
The Systems Administrator (Virtualization) is responsible for supporting a complex enterprise-wide environment specifically Microsoft Server 2012 and Microsoft Server 2016, Hyper-V and Citrix Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI). The incumbent is responsible for the installing, testing, system security configuration and monitoring, operating, troubleshooting and maintaining server hardware and software. The position will also serve as a member of a team of system administrators.
The incumbent will be expected to provide on-call support for critical systems on a shift rotation basis and, where necessary, work the occasional weekend/evening to perform maintenance, upgrades, and repairs or troubleshooting.
