THIS POSITION IS A TITLE 32 FEDERAL EXCEPTED INDEFINITE TECHNICIAN POSITION. YOU MUST BE OR BECOME A MILITARY MEMBER IN THE NEW HAMPSHIRE AIR NATIONAL GUARD.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: An applicant must have a validated understanding of the basic principles and concepts of the occupational series and grade.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: (WG-12) - Must have at least a three-skill level in one of the compatible AFSCs, with 12 months of work experiences, that involved installing, modifying, overhauling, maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, aligning, calibrating, and rebuilding multi-system avionics complexes consisting of multiple completely integrated electronic avionics systems where the complex accomplishes a number of major functions.
KSA's:
- Complete working knowledge of the interaction of the avionics package on the aircraft.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the electronics systems to identify, isolate and repair malfunctions on the aircraft.
-Ability to use precision test equipment, test program information, technical data, schematic, signal and data flow diagrams and test procedures as well as mathematical formulas.
-Extensive knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic principles as well as pressurization.
-Comprehensive knowledge of the Technical Order system and other technical publications and directives relating to the section; current certification in high reliability soldering techniques, as well as electrostatic discharge protective techniques.
-Skilled in performing on-or-off equipment maintenance on one or more complete electronic integrated systems associated with the assigned aircraft and/or maintenance on automatic flight control systems, instrument systems, inertial or radar navigation systems.
-Skilled in conducting operational checks, inspections, tests, trouble shooting, removal and replacement of line replaceable units.
-Ability and experience in maintaining, modifying, calibrating and inspecting a wide variety of user tests, measurements, and diagnostic equipment.
-Knowledge and skilled with complex aircraft avionics; and/or electronic circuit maintenance systems such as, the electronics package used in an automated aircraft.
-Ability and experience in working with the flight director instrumentation, central air data computer, engine, hydraulic and fuel quantity indicating systems, voice message warning, very high frequency ultra-high frequency, satellite communications data, intercom, secure voice communications, and identification friend or foe tactical air navigation system.
