Specialized Experience
To qualify at the GS-07 grade level: To qualify, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade/level GS-05. Specialized experience is defined as: develop quantity estimates, review construction transmittals for compliance with specifications, gather and review a variety of narrative and/or statistical data to prepare reports, and conduct analysis of data to support conclusions or recommendations for action.
To qualify at the GS-09 grade level: To qualify, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade/level GS-07. Specialized experience is defined as:
the ability to demonstrate practical engineering experience for complex projects, be able to independently carry out directives and evaluations, develop information papers, and exercise judgment when interpreting policies and procedures.
