The Sports, Fitness and Aquatics Branch operates the swimming facilities listed below, supports PT, instructional swim for active duty Soldiers, various military trainings, and hosts a myriad of recreational activities. Recreational programming includes, but is not limited to: Open Swimming at Splash and West Beach, Water Aerobics, SCUBA Courses, Lifeguarding and other Health & Safety Certification Courses, Joint Ventures with CYSS for EDGE program components and SKIES Youth Swimming Lessons, and a Youth Swim Team (parent-run, non-profit, post-approved organization).
The incumbent will provide maximum pool area surveillance and responds to emergencies; rescues pool patrons and administers first aid as required. Assists in maintaining pool, and area clean and free from any hazards. Performs periodic water tests and reports results to the pool leader on duty. Outdoor work is required during seasonal operations.
This announcement will be used to fill flexible (intermittent) positions within the following MWR activities:

West Beach, Lake Tholocco - Outdoor
SPLASH! Pool and Spray Park
Flynn Pool- Outdoor Pool
*Incumbent may be transferred between facilities as the need arises*
