The VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System (VAPHS) Surgical Service is seeking a full-time staff physician (Anesthesiologist).
We are seeking candidates with excellent clinical skills and experience in the full range of anesthesia care. Fellowship training in cardiac and/or liver transplant anesthesiology is preferred. Additional board certification in Perioperative Transesophageal Echocardiography is highly preferred, as is experience with regional anesthesia techniques. Responsibilities may also include resident and medical student teaching requiring academic appointment with the University of Pittsburgh. Competitive salary and benefits. VAPHS is one of the largest VA healthcare systems in the United States with state-of-the-art surgical technologies and serves as the acute tertiary care referral center for a large veteran population in Western Pennsylvania and the surrounding areas.
