These positions are assigned to General Medicine Service. Vacancies may be available at either of our two major divisions: Seattle or American Lake; or at one of our 3 Community Based Out Patient Clinics (CBOC): Mount Vernon, Bremerton or Port Angeles. Each position functions in a General Internal Medicine Clinic setting and reports to the Director, General Medicine Service. These positions will, as defined by the American Board of Internal or Family Medicine, admit, evaluate, diagnosis and treat patients appropriate to the specialty of Internal Medicine. Upon providing competency and receiving approval, the incumbent may also perform specialty procedures as delineated in their clinical privileges. These positions will take part in continuing medical education (as defined by licensure), and quality assurance activities.
