This Kinesiotherapist position is located in Medical Service and is not a bargaining unit position. This is a temporary full-time position. The work schedule is: Monday through Friday 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Basic Requirements
Citizenship: Must be a citizen of the United States.
English Language Proficiency: Must be proficient in spoken and written English.
Education: A bachelor's degree in kinesiotherapy, or exercise science with an emphasis in Kinesiotherapy from an accredited college or university.
Graduate Education: Graduate degrees may be substituted for experience through the GS-11 level. Graduate degrees must be from a college or university that was regionally or nationally accredited at the time the candidate completed the program. To substitute the graduate degree, it must have been completed after the individual met the basic requirements for appointment.
This position is being recruited at the full performance level of GS-10.
Experience: Completion of 1 year of experience equivalent to the next lower grade level. In addition, the candidate must demonstrate the following KSAs:

Creditable Experience: The equivalent of 1 year of active practice. Active practice means paid/non-paid employment as a Kinesiotherapist as defined by Council on Professional Standards for Kinesiotherapy.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religions; spiritual; community; student; social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

Term appointments: Term appointments are non-status, nonpermanent appointments of limited duration.
