· Develop Cybersecurity requirements, establish budgets, develop acquisition plans, program milestone and review acquisition Cybersecurity deliverables and coordinate program reviews.
· Develop new interpretations and procedures to satisfy both Cybersecurity and overall project goals and requirements.
· Provide science and engineering services on various aspects of Information Assurance (IA) and Cyber Defense.
This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) and requires additional education, training and experience. This position has been designated as a Cyber IT/Cybersecurity Workforce position in specialty area code 65 as a condition of employment incumbents of the position are required to comply with the DON Cyber IT/CSWF Program requirements of SECNAV M-5239.2, which include:
1. Earn and maintain appropriate credentials from the Cyber IT/CSWF Qualification Matrix (Appendix 4 of SECNAV M-5239.2) associated with the specialty area and level commensurate with the scope of major assigned duties for the position to which you are assigned.
2. Participate in a continuous learning program as described in SECNAVINST 1543.2. A minimum of 40 hours of Cyber IT/CSWF related continuous learning annually documented in a current individual development plan (IDP) signed by both the employee and supervisor.
Applicants must have successfully completed a bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science; OR a bachelor's degree with 30 semester hours in a combination of mathematics, statistics, and computer science. At least 15 of the 30 semester hours must have included any combination of statistics and mathematics that included differential and integral calculus.

Applicants must also possess at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the ND-03 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience is defined as experience that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled and has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities, to perform successfully the duties of the position. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing science and engineering services in the development of cyber security solutions for IT systems, networks, tools and/or applications.
