The Arts & Crafts Center is your one-stop-shop for crafty projects and personalized gifts! Our services include framing, laser engraving, coin engraving, color sublimation, woodshop, pottery/ceramics, instructional programs, RV storage, Lemon Lot registration, and more. We have something for everyone!
Work will be performed in the Non-appropriated Fund Arts & Crafts Center where the work environment is noisy and dusty. Must be available to work days, evenings and weekends.

Basic Duties:
- Proper machine maintenance to ensure that all machines are running properly.
- Taking and filling orders in a timely manor.
- Running a cash register, answering phones and opening/closing of the facility.
Additional duties by department:
Engraving Department:
-Use CorelDraw software to create or edit existing graphics to be engraved into items such as plaques, awards, and metal plates.
-Assembe items such as trophies, plaques, and awards.
Framing Department:
-Use Wizard software, mat cutters, underpinners, miter choppers, miter saws, pin guns, glass cutters, hammers, glass, mat board, and frame molding to create custom frames.
Woodshop Department:
-Use band saws, miter saws, table saws, panel saws, palm and drum sanders, planers, various types of wood, wood glue, polyurethane and wood stains and other eqipments/supplies to creat custom wood crafts.
Screen Printing Department:
-Use CorelDraw software, screen printing press, conveyor dryer, washout booth, exposure unit, emulsion and emulsion remover, screen printing ink, and waterproof film to create graphics to screen print onto items such as t-shirts, mouse pads, tote bags and other items.
Sublimation Department:
-Use CorelDraw software, heat presses, ovens, and other equipment to create custom printed plaques, awards, coffee cups, clothing and other items.
-Assemble items such as trophies, plaques, and awards.

Conditions of Employment
1. Meet all qualification/eligibility requirements.
2. A completed and signed copy DA Form 3433 is required prior to entrance on duty.
3. Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-VERIFY) check.
4. Appointment is subject to completion of a favorable background checks/investigation to determine suitability for this position.
5. Attend Team Member Orientation within the first 30 days of employment.
6. Must be available to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
7. This is a flexible position and does not have guaranteed hours. A flexible employee serves in a continuing position on a scheduled or as needed basis.

Minimum Qualifications:
Work experience which involves dealing with the general public.
Best Qualifications:
Sublimation, Engraving, and Screen Printing: at least Six (6) months experience with graphic design. As well as basic computer skills and the ability to use a tape measure.
Woodshop: Possess knowledge and experience using woodworking tools and materials (e.g. planers, drum sanders, table saws, band saws, radial saws, tape measure etc).
Framing: Possess previous experience in picture framing and/or woodworking and utilizing tools such as a miter chopper, glass cutter, underpinner, tape measuer, mat cutter.
