The VA Puget Sound Health Care System in Seattle Washington is seeking a dynamic staff physician that serves as the Chief of Dermatology within the Hospital & Specialty Medicine service. The patient population ranges from young adult to geriatrics. The Incumbent will demonstrate proficiency in practice, planning, and self-direction in goal setting for managing each Veteran's medical need.
The Chief is for the daily administrative and clinical operations of the Endocrine Section and reports directly to the Primary and Specialty Medical Care Line Manager. S/He may also work in one or all of the following units: Inpatient wards and Subspecialty Clinic area. In addition, the incumbent may be required to perform General Medicine attending duties on the inpatient wards.

The Chief will, as defined by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the Subspecialty Board of Endocrinology, admit, evaluate, diagnosis, provide treatment and consultative services to patients presenting with endocrine and metabolic diseases. The incumbent may also perform specialty procedures delineated in their clinical privileges.
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am to 430pm
