The incumbent assists with planning, execution and support of major initiatives sponsored by OCOO and FHFA mission offices. The incumbent provides expertise and support to executives, managers, and staff in the areas of human resource related matters such as personnel actions; award and appraisal programs; employee relation concerns; recruiting; reorganizations; and delegation of authority.
Provides expertise and support of human resource management needs to the Supervisory Management and Program Analyst. Monitoring, coordinating, and tracking all on-going and projected actions and continuously updates leadership. Maintains internal reports on personnel statistics such as on-board numbers and hiring projections.
The incumbent handles special assignments of a confidential nature discretely, ensuring information and actions are accurate, timely, applicable, maintained on a need-to-know bases and securely stored.
Advises management in evaluating positions ensuring accuracy and consistency with established principles, practices, policies, standards, and regulations.
Provides expert advice and assistance to senior management and staff in the development of workforce related requirements. Oversees the accurate and timely reporting of office workforce metrics for efficient organizational use. Initiates requests to fill vacancies, to classify position descriptions and to institute promotions, assignments, awards, and personnel actions.
Designs and develops reports, memoranda, procedures and other documentation for the Supervisor and management for information and decision-making purposes.
Interacts with groups on an ongoing basis and raises suggested efficiencies. Collaborates with FHFA Offices to achieve greater efficiencies in office and agency operations, to ensure that operations adhere to agency policy and procedures, and to ensure the needs of FHFA are satisfied.
Performs other duties as assigned.
