The primary purpose of this position is to provide parent education and support services by means of home visitation. The program is designed to provide home-based education for child abuse/neglect prevention services to eligible population which includes deployed members, divorcees, and adoptive families as well as expectant and new military parents.

Nurse with a Bachelors degree or related field with specialization in child development
OR professional knowledge such as gained through a Bachelors degree in social work, counseling, or other related social science with specialization in maternal/child health issues and/or public health.
Four years' experience providing home visitation services may be substituted for a professional degree.
To ensure compliance with an applicable preliminary nationwide injunction, which may be supplemented, modified, or vacated, depending on the course of ongoing litigation, the Federal Government will take no action to implement or enforce the COVID-19 vaccination requirement pursuant to Executive Order 14043 on Requiring Coronavirus Disease 2019 Vaccination for Federal Employees.
