The National Program Hosting Branch (NPHB) security operations team lead, in the Hosting Services Division (HSD), serves to secure and support the Cloud Hosting and Networks Office (CHNO) within the Department of Technology Services (DTS) of the Administrative Office of the U.S. Courts (AO). This position will provide the technical leadership to engineer and build secure computing platforms within the environment. The Security Operations Team Lead will be the local security expert and will be responsible for compliance with security policies, guidance, and regulations, while adhering to security best practices.
The Security Operations Team Lead reports to National Program Hosting Branch Chief. The team lead is a senior member of the team, responsible for coordinating and mentoring other engineers and administrators on the team. The incumbent assists the NPHB Chief with providing leadership for the team. This involves evaluating current processes and procedures for opportunities to enhance and improve services and ensuring that approved processes and procedures are followed through review and audit activities. The incumbent also be responsible for identifying and establishing key metrics to measure the effectiveness of the Security Monitoring and Incident Response programs.
