IT SPECIALIST COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS:
To qualify, applicants must possess 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as experience as an IT Systems Analysis with technical responsibility for developing and implementing Business Intelligence (BI) solutions for customers using various data management systems and tools and managing complex projects that include the diagnosis of behavioral bottlenecks in public service or program delivery, translating findings from the social and behavioral findings into concrete interventions that are likely to improve priority outcome measure achievement, and designing rigorous randomized controlled trials to test the impact of these recommendations using administrative data.

This is a term appointment, made for an initial period of 2 years. The appointment may be extended up to a total of 3 years, in increments of 1 year or less. Permanent competitive career or career-conditional employment cannot be acquired through a term appointment.
