Serves as the bell clerk for bell operations at a resort lodging property. Functions as the aloha ambassador for the hotel welcoming and interacting positively with guests and customers. Demonstrates quality customer service in attitude, appearance, behavior, and job performance which together, greatly influences the public's impression of the property. As bell clerk, primarily performs a variety of clerical duties that involving direction of work flow of bell services performed by bellman. Responds to requests of clientele for a variety of services to include but not limited to storage, directions, or delivery of items or goods such as flowers, fruit baskets, mail, parcels, etc. As a required function, carries guests' items to and from automobiles, loads and navigates luggage carts and escorts guests to their rooms and explains rooms' features such as locks, ventilation systems, and televisions. Assist physically challenged travelers and other guests with special needs.Drives an electronic cart to transport guests about premises and local areas, or arranges for transportation. Opens and closes doors for guests. Maintains the cleanliness of the lobby. Observes for unauthorized or unsafe lobby activities. Arrange for shipments of baggage, express mail, and parcels. Computes and completes charges for services rendered and maintains records. Sets up display tables, refreshments, racks, or shelves, and arrange merchandise displays. Complete baggage forms.
