Responsible for performing radiological and environmental protection licensing and inspection of facilities possessing and using byproduct, source and/or special nuclear materials. Conducts investigations to evaluate occurrences with radiological safety significance and to determine the status of compliance with Commission requirements. Responsible for analysis and evaluation of radiological hazards, design specifications, and operating procedures described in license applications and existing at applicant and licensee facilities for a wide variety of uses of radioactive material.

The duty location of this position is Lisle, Illinois. In general, employees are expected to be in the office 4 days per pay period. Telework schedules are approved, on a case-by-case basis.
