This position is located in the Division of DLNG - Facility Review & Inspections, Washington, DC or Houston Regional Office, in the Office of Energy Projects. As a General Engineer, some of your typical work assignments may include:

In addition to the education required for this position, you must have one full year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 level. Specialized experience is defined as: experience independently performing complex safety, reliability, and engineering analyses for LNG facilities AND at least one of the following: 1. experience developing instrumentation and control designs for LNG facilities 2. experience conducting instrumentation and control reviews for LNG facilities.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills, and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including any volunteer experience.
