Organizational Location: This position is with the Department of Homeland Security, within U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Office of Field Operations, Tucson Field Office, Mission Support - Budget Branch, located in Tucson, AZ.
Law enforcement positions are expected to report to their duty station on a daily basis. However, due to COVID-19, some positions in CBP are currently in an expanded telework posture. If selected, and you are given an entrance on duty date you will be provided additional information on the reporting requirements of your position.
This position will allow you to use your expertise in a wide variety of mission support functional areas and provide advisory and technical services to CBP management. This position starts at a salary of $67,109.00 (GS-11, Step 1) to $104,570.00 (GS-12, Step 10) with promotion potential to $104,570 (GS-12 Step 10). In this Mission Support Specialist position, you will become involved in planning and carrying out a wide variety of mission support, human resources, facilities, administrative research, logistics and other program planning activities related to the mission and functions of CBP.
