This position is designated as High Risk and requires a background investigation. We are looking for at least one year of specialized experience related to this position as described below:
To qualify for the GS-14 level, you need to have at least one year of full-time experience equivalent to the GS-13 level defined as providing consultation or technical expertise for the development, implementation, and evaluation of strategies, policies, and/or directives for an organization; conducting projects and/or studies to evaluate program performance and effectiveness; and preparing and delivering briefings, reports, and/or presentations.
Your application package will be used to evaluate your competencies in the following areas: 1) Knowledge of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL); 2) Knowledge of strategic planning and organizational design; 3) Ability to develop new methods and approaches in planning, integrating, and evaluating programs; 4) Skill in long and short-range program planning and strategy development; 5) Knowledge of statutes, laws, and regulations related to environmental protection; 6) Skill in policy analysis; 7) Skill in written communication sufficient to organize and summarize large amounts of information; 8) Skill in oral communication sufficient to make presentations to senior leadership and represent the Agency in public meetings.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social).
