The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Network Operations Security Center (NOSC) was established under the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) Information Technology Operations (ITO) Division to serve as the central coordinating and reporting authority for all DHS Component Network Security Operation Centers (NOCs and SOCs) and perform security operations and incident management/handling for DHS Headquarters.
The DHS OCIO is recruiting Cybersecurity Engineers in the DHS Cybersecurity Technical Track with varying levels of technical expertise to support a range of efforts to deliver security and network operations solutions to customers across DHS. This includes the implementation of enterprise cybersecurity initiatives and reviews of security capabilities used by the DHS NOSC and DHS Components.

Staff Cybersecurity Specialist: $128,250 - $141,750
Principal Cybersecurity Specialist: $152,950 - $169,050
Senior Principal Cybersecurity Specialist: $162,450 - $179,550
In some geographic areas, average starting salaries will be higher because of a local cybersecurity labor market supplement (e.g., metro Washington, D.C. +10%).
