You must have one full year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-14 level. Specialized experience is defined as: Experience communicating the impacts of emerging cybersecurity technologies and federal requirements to various levels of audiences. Experience developing and implementing an enterprise cybersecurity strategy to ensure the protection of critical systems, data, and end users while adhering to federal requirements. Experience in leadership that supports meeting customer requirements in a secure manner and delivering metrics based results on cybersecurity programs. Possession of professional cybersecurity certifications such as (i.e. CISA, CISM, CISSP, etc.) are highly preferred.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills, and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including any volunteer experience.

Telework days and any waiting period for eligibility will be determined at that time.
