Experience must be in the normal line of progression or must be related to the work of the position advertised and must be reflected in resume. Examples of specialized experience include experience in using a variety of analytical instruments, including mass spectrometry, used for chemical analysis of materials or forensic samples; experience in maintaining and troubleshooting analytical instrumentation; experience in acquiring and validating new instruments for the chemical analysis of materials or forensic samples.
