This position is duty stationed in Cornish, NH at Saint-Gaudens National Historical Park but will also have offices in Woodstock, VT and Springfield, MA. Travel between the parks is expected. In general, the incumbent will report to work in Cornish or Woodstock and may TYD travel to Springfield.
The incumbent serves as the Administrative Officer and head of the Division of Administration and Business Services for six NPS units or offices (Saint-Gaudens NHP, Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller NHP, Stewardship Institute, Springfield Armory NHS, Coltsville NHP, and New England NST) in four states (New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, and Connecticut). The incumbent will lead a staff of administrative professionals based in Vermont, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts in providing a variety of administrative services including human resource management, procurement, budget, payroll, accounts payable/receivable, agreements, leasing, property and fleet management, housing management, and other areas. The incumbent provides administrative and business service leadership on two management teams (Saint-Gaudens/Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller/Stewardship Institute and Springfield Armory/Coltsville/New England Trail) and is directly supervised by the superintendent for Saint-Gaudens/Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller/Stewardship Institute.

The position is located in Cornish, New Hampshire, which is a rural area. The nearest community is Windsor, Vermont, which is three miles away. Windsor has a population of approximately 3,500 and amenities such as a hospital, churches, restaurants, stores, transportation, etc. Larger nearby communities include Lebanon, NH (11 miles north) and Claremont, NH (10 miles south). Lebanon and Claremont both have all standard services and amenities. Hanover, NH, home of Dartmouth College, is a college town with a variety of amenities. Woodstock, Vermont, is located approximately 25 minutes from Cornish. Woodstock is a picturesque New England village with a historic downtown area. Temperatures in the area range from -10 F to +40 F in the winter and +50 F to +95 F in the summer. Precipitation is approximately 35 inches annually.
