As a CONTRACT SPECIALIST you will be responsible for the following duties:

Starting Salary Information: This position will be filled as an NH-03 HIGH, with a starting salary of $79,301 to $122,592 for Redstone Arsenal, AL (includes 19.85% locality); starting salary of $86,335 to $133,465 for Dahlgren, VA (includes 30.48% locality); and starting salary of $77,931 to$120,475 for Schriever Air Force Base, CO (includes 17.78% locality), unless statutory or regulatory rules prevail.
ACQUISITION POSITION: This position requires Acquisition Workforce Level II in Contracting. Certification prior to hiring is not essential but must be accomplished within 24 months after entry into this position.
Selectee or incumbent must be able to obtain the appropriate certification level for their position.
Candidates must meet the suitability standards both prior to and during employment in this position.
