The Director for the Office of Intelligence plays a major role in the oversight of the Department’s intelligence support functions. Responsibilities include:

Background Investigation: This position requires a Top Secret/SCI security clearance and is designated as special-sensitive, requiring that a background investigation be conducted and favorably adjudicated in order to establish security eligibility.
