Develops, implements, and complies with Analytical Laboratory Protocol which includes procedures and guidelines on how to implement the following: Laboratory safety; Sampling: sample preservation and handling; microbiological and analytical procedures and methods in accordance with ASTM standards; reporting procedures; equipment calibration; data handling and reporting; record keeping; work assessment and QC procedures which conform to the Environmental Protection Agency Handbook for QC in water and waste water laboratories; and sterilization procedures.
Plans, directs and performs a wide variety of comprehensive chemical studies and analyses to provide information about the quality of process waters, treated waters, river and ground waters, and agricultural drainage.
Ensures that Laboratory equipment functions are continuously monitored.
