IT SPECIALIST COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS:
Specialized Experience: To qualify, applicants must possess 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as experience monitoring and evaluating IT systems compliance with security requirements; implementing and coordinating activities to ensure, protect, and restore IT systems, services, and capabilities; and providing advice and guidance to end users on implementing IT security procedures.
