This position serves as a first line Tree Worker Supervisor, who plans, schedules and directs day-to-day work accomplishments of the tree maintenance program. Will share with, participate in, and make recommendations to the General Foreman in all areas pertinent to the direction and administration of all arboriculture functions undertaken by the National Mall & Memorial Parks.

Physical Demands: The work requires various technical and physical skills needed to meet the continuing requirements of a comprehensive ecologically sound coordinated urban forestry arboriculture program.
Working Conditions: Specialized skills are required to work safely and avoid damage to park resources, especially when working around historic structures, memorials, monuments, and grounds, working at night, and working in traffic roadways.
Travel, transportation, and relocation expenses will be paid if the selectee lives outside of the local commuting area and is otherwise eligible for reimbursement of relocation expenses in accordance with the Federal Travel Regulation.
