This position serves as a member of the External Affairs team with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service's Southwest Region, Office of External Affairs. The incumbent leads the Region's outreach to the 84 Federally recognized tribes located in Arizona, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas, and supports the Service's national Native American Liaison program as a consultant and through appointment to a number of committees.
