As a GS-13 Information Technology Specialist (Data Management), the individual is responsible for managing and maintaining systems and architecture for Hadoop and Linux configurations, providing expert methodological and analytical advice and support to OIG teams in multidisciplinary scientific principles, the applications of statistical, mathematical, and operations research methods and techniques to the full range of DOJ programs, activities, and functions. The individual utilizes a variety of highly technical computer software packages to accomplish assignments and develops innovative methodologies for employing data extraction, analysis software, data mining, operational efficiency, and other advanced techniques.
