Supports the Implementation of Service Area Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Compliance programs/projects/activities.
Provides implementation guidance and support for all Air Traffic Organization (ATO) Service Area offices by ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements in the area of occupational safety and health compliance.
Identifies implementation related program/project risks. Monitors anti mitigates risks through the life of the program/project. Resolves programmatic Issues to preclude negative impacts.
Supports Service Area Program Implementation Managers in developing and executing Service Area Program Implementation Plans.
Prepares task orders, work statements, and other documents necessary to procure contractual services for OSH compliance projects.
Utilizes agency established tool sets to establish, track, and report on schedules, costs, and performance or OSH compliance programs and projects.
Translates approved safety and health requirements into project scopes and coordinates project execution with implementing organizations.
Coordinates and/or supports upward reporting or program implementation activities/Issues.
Performs other duties as assigned.
To qualify for the FG-13 level, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to FV-H, FG/GS-12 in the Federal Service. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position. Specialized experience includes: Direct work experience and in-depth knowledge of associated OSHA and ANSI standards in at least three or more Occupational Safety & Health programs: Fall Protection; Electrical Safety; Indoor Air Quality (including asbestos, lead & mold); Fire Protection; and Personal Protective Equipment.
