The Regional Counsel implements the responsibilities of the General Counsel within the respective region and provides legal and policy assistance directly to the Regional Administrator, the Regional Commissioner for the Public Buildings Service and the Regional Commissioner for Federal Acquisition Service and other regional senior management officials in formulating, promulgating, and executing regional programs and operations. The Regional Counsel serves as a member of the Regional Senior Leadership Team. The Regional Counsel reports to the Deputy General Counsel.

The GS-15 salary range starts at $129,722.00 per year in Fort Worth, TX and starts at $130,973.00 per year in Philadelphia, PA.
If you are a new federal employee, your starting salary will likely be set at the Step 1 of the grade for which you are selected.

Specialized Experience: Experience and demonstrated skill in preparing for litigation and knowledge of and experience applying personnel law, the Privacy Act, Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), Federal procurement and appropriations law, and Government ethics rules.
