About the Position: The Watervliet Arsenal is an Army owned & operated manufacturing center located in NY. It is the oldest, continuously active arsenal in the United States having begun operations in 1813. Today it is relied upon by U.S. and foreign militaries to produce the most advanced, high-powered weaponry for cannon, howitzer, and mortar systems. The Arsenal is the only location in the DoD that has a weapons research facility (Benét Labs) collocated with a manufacturing facility.

Minimum Qualifications: To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of specialized experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Your resume must reflect one year of Specialized experience which includes (1) the prevention, detection and/or investigation of crimes; (2) the response to citizens in emergency/non-emergency situations; (3) the protection of property against such hazards as fire, theft, damage, accident, or trespass; and (4) maintaining order and protecting life. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service GS-05.
