Develops and recommends policies, plans, standards, and procedures relating to real property and/or real Property interests. Functions as technical authority applying new application of industry-accepted theories and standards to appraise and review appraisals of real property and interests in real property.
Asserts individual ingenuity to perform assignments for which there is no industry standard or for which traditional professional standards must be applied in unique ways. Investigates and analyzes a wide variety of problems and questions to provide guidance on specific appraisal standards, methods, and techniques, and to recommend new or modified policies.
Provides advice and guidance on real property appraisal issues. Provides technical advice and guidance to federal and private contractors and property appraisal personnel in regards to Federal Laws and Forest Service policy.
Communicates with individuals/groups on projects that are of great significance to the landowners in terms of adverse effects on property involving very high values.
