The O&R DAIG provides executive leadership over the day-to-day administration and operations of the Division. The incumbent executes O&R policies, objectives, and priorities and implements the strategic plan for accomplishing the Division's mission. The position includes the following responsibilities:
This position is in the Senior Executive Service (SES). As a basic requirement for entry into the SES, applicants must provide evidence of progressively responsible leadership experience indicative of senior executive-level management capability. Typically, experience of this nature will have been gained at or above the GS-15 grade level in the federal service or its equivalent in the private sector.
To meet the minimum qualification requirements for this position, applicants must possess a Juris Doctor degree and demonstrate in the resume and narrative statements the Executive Core Qualifications (ECQs) and the Mandatory Technical Qualifications (MTQs) listed below. The narratives should be clear and concise, and emphasize your level of responsibility, scope and complexity of programs managed, program accomplishments, policy initiatives undertaken, and the results of your actions.

Mandatory Technical Qualification(s)
1. Substantial experience supervising and carrying out broad, highly technical, and complex investigations from an office of Inspector General, Internal Affairs, Professional Responsibility, or comparable environment.
2. Substantial experience supervising the drafting, editing, and publishing of complex investigative reports.
3. Ability to communicate effectively and work constructively and collaboratively with other internal and external organizations and other professional disciplines to enhance the effectiveness of operations.

This position requires a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from a law school accredited by the American Bar Association.
