As a Program Analyst, you will:
Works under the direction of the Deputy Director for Counterintelligence monitoring both program and administration budgets for the Counterintelligence organization and serves as a primary budget formulation and review officer.
Tracks and monitors taskings levied by IN leadership in collaboration with Division Directors and 15 Counterintelligence Field Offices ensuring coordination of complex investigative, analytical and cyber related issues are appropriately brought to the attention of the Deputy Director of Counterintelligence and appropriately briefed to Senior agency officials throughout the Intelligence Community.
Participates in meetings for purpose of briefing key officials to assure that matters and projects assigned for development receive the depth of review and coordination essential to meet the office's mission; tracks and monitors taskings levied and received by the Deputy Director and ensures their satisfactory completion.
Administers the Deputy Director's daily, weekly, and long-term schedule, exercising independent judgment and initiative to identify priorities, time frames, preparations required, and scope of issues to be covered; develops and applies creative solutions for resolving conflicting demands on the Deputy Director's time and attention.
Tracks events of interest for the Deputy Director of Counterintelligence on multiple fronts, keeping the Deputy Director informed on developments of critical interest to IN, the Department of Energy, and the Intelligence Community.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Eligible candidates for this position must be able to obtain and maintain a DOE Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance AND qualify for a Q clearance. This position has also been designated as a Testing Designated Position (TDP) subject to testing for illegal drug use. The selectee must test negative prior to being appointed to this position and will be subject to random testing thereafter. Failure to pass or refusal to take subsequent tests could result in non-selection or disciplinary action, up to and including removal from the Federal service. If selected for this vacancy (only if this position has a financial disclosure requirement), you may be required to file the OGE Form 450 (Financial Disclosure Statement) prior to your appointment to this position.
