The Office of the Director, NIH Ethics Office (NEO) is looking for someone to join their team as a Supervisory Ethics Specialist. The broad mission of the NEO is to oversee and provide strategic direction of NIH activities relating to ethics policy, oversight, and operational activities of the 27 Institutes and Centers. NEO's activities include the development and administration of NIH policies for implementing government wide and departmental supplemental standards of ethical conduct, conflict of interest and financial disclosure statutes and regulations; oversight of a rigorous program of quality control and risk management; assessments of the effectiveness of conflict of interest operations and the application of delegated authority to the 27 Institutes and Centers (ICs) and the Office of the Director of NIH; oversight of a comprehensive and continuous training program on ethics for all NIH employees and staff; and to develop and maintain an effective enterprise information technology system to identify and manage real and potential conflicts of interests of NIH employees.
This position is located in the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), National Institutes of Health (NIH), Office of the Director (OD), NIH Ethics Office (NEO).
