As a mid-level Food Service Worker, you will perform a variety of food service tasks in the Main Kitchen and/or Metabolic Kitchen in the areas of meal set-up, assembly and delivery/pick-up. You will also provide assistance to cooks.

If selected for this position, your duties will include but are not limited to the following food service tasks in the areas of meal assembly and service, ware-washing, sanitation and safety:

(4) Ability to read, understand and follow preparation and serving instructions, manuals, etc.
(5) Ability to use and care for food preparation and serving tools, utensils and equipment.
(6) Knowledge of food preparation serving ingredients.
(7) Dexterity and safety in food service work.
(8) Ability to work as a member of a team.
(9) Ability to walk and stand continuously, and frequent stopping, reaching, pushing, pulling and bending for an eight hour shift.
This position is designated as an emergency essential position and the selected candidate will be considered an emergency essential employee and will be required to be available, ready, willing, and able to report for duty under all circumstances, e.g., inclement weather, government closings and holidays, lapse in appropriations, non-emergency and emergency situations for operation 24 hours a day and 365 days per year coverage.
A one-year probationary period may be required upon selection/ placement.
