APPOINTMENT FACTORS: This position is a Temporary Promotion vacancy NTE One Year in the Excepted Service. Management retains the right to terminate the temporary promotion action or convert to permanent status without further notice or competition. This temporary promotion can be extended beyond one year up to five years as mission allows. Selected individual will return to their former position when the temporary promotion is terminated. This is a non-bargaining unit position.
NATIONAL GUARD MEMBERSHIP REQUIRED: This is an Excepted Service position that requires active membership in a compatible assignment in the Missouri Army National Guard. Selectee will be required to wear the military uniform. Acceptance of an Excepted Service position constitutes concurrence with these requirements as a condition of employment. Applicants who are not currently a member in the Missouri Army National Guard must be eligible for immediate membership and employment in the Missouri Army National Guard in the military grade listed in this announcement. MILITARY REQUIREMENTS:
Since the position is temporary in nature, the compatibility requirements will be waived for a period of time not to exceed one year.
