This position will require deployments to designated locations within Southwest Asia Theater of Operation
This position is TERM Not to Exceed (NTE) 13 months. It is temporary and may be extended up to a maximum of four years.
For appointments to the position, candidates must meet or will meet DAWIA certification requirements within specified timeframes. The employee must meet DoDI 5000.66 requirements applicable to the duties of the position.
About the Position:
This position will support the US Army Aviation and Missile Command (AMCOM). AMCOM works in partnership with Program Execution Officers and Project Managers, furnishing nearly 1,950 staff spaces dedicated to providing integration engineering, logistics and contracting support covering over 90 major systems - about half the systems in the US Army.
Perform assignments under the general supervision of the on-site Contract Oversight Team (COT) chief. Employee is responsible for planning, organizing and coordinating work and conducting work within established guidelines. Independently resolve most problems in accordance with established policies and procedures.
