As a Supervisory IT Specialist (INFOSEC), you will be responsible for providing the technical expertise necessary to ensure that FAS products and services meet information security (INFOSEC) requirements in response to Government needs.

This position has job functions that must be executed within specific geographic locations. To qualify, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level or higher in the Federal service.
Applicants applying for the GS-14 grade level must have IT-related experience demonstrating EACH of the four competencies AND one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level in the Federal service as described below:
IT SPECIALIST COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS:
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Specialized experience is experience managing information systems programs and projects; designing developing, managing, and implementing IT projects that meet current and future business requirements for an organization or government-wide system. Such work must include project planning and oversight for the implementation of new systems and/or major changes to existing systems, requirements identification, acceptance and usability testing; identifying requirements and administering contracts for IT professional services and systems; and providing advice on and devising solutions to a wide range of IT issues.
This job does not have an education qualification requirement.
