The incumbent will be responsible for supporting the FMD-B division's maintenance workload in support of our mission's science. This effort includes creating Statements of Work (SOW) and Performance Work Statements (PWS) and acting as Contracting Officers Representative (COR) and project manager for minor construction, alteration, renovation, major/minor repair, maintenance service, etc. on a wide variety of buildings and specialized structures such as laboratory and office buildings, steam and chilled water generation plant, underground utilities and structures, roads, other civil works, etc. Performs on-site inspections of construction and monitors and controls construction operations requiring application of practical knowledge of engineering methods and techniques; knowledge of construction practices, methods, techniques, costs, materials, and equipment; ability to read and interpret engineering and architectural plans and specifications.
