The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the deputy (full assistant/alter ego) to the Camp Guernsey Training Center (GTC) Manager of a Level II Garrison Training Center that supports a Brigade or multiple Brigades that share in the responsibility for all operational aspects of training management in support of national defense, and Wyoming determined initiatives and missions. This position is authorized to make technical and executive decisions for the Base Operations Manager in all areas of functional responsibility; represents the group and the commander at meetings, conferences, official functions, and community events, and when acting as the senior group official in the absence of the commander, possesses the same authority and prerogatives as the commander. Management and executive knowledge and ability are the paramount qualification requirements.

Must be assessed into WY ARNG before appt. May take up to 120 days.
Must become a member of the Wyoming Army Nat'l Guard before appt.

PCS is not authorized in lieu of incentives.
May be required to successfully complete a probationary period.

EMPLOYMENT CONDITIONS:
Technicians are paid through Direct Deposit/Electronic Funds Transfer (DD/EFT).
Military Technicians are ineligible for military enlistment, retention, and student loan repayment bonuses. Acceptance of a Technician position over 180 days will result in suspension or termination these military incentives. Relocation expenses will not be paid by the Government unless noted in the Announcement.
Military Technicians in the excepted service will wear the appropriate uniform while performing as a Technician.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
1. Must be able to obtain and maintain at a minimum a Secret security clearance.
2. This position is covered by the Domestic Violence Misdemeanor Amendment (30 Sep 96) of the Gun Control Act (Lautenberg Amendment) of 1968. An individual convicted of a qualifying crime of domestic violence may not perform the duties of this position.

AREAS OF CONSIDERATION:

Area 1: All permanent and indefinite Wyoming National Guard (NG) WY ARNG employees assigned to the Training Center Command.
Area 2: All permanent and indefinite Wyoming National Guard (NG) T32 Dual Status technicians employed within the Wyoming Army National Guard.
Area 4: All current M-day soldiers of the Wyoming Army National Guard.
Area 6: Current military members of the US Army, Army Reserves, or other states' Army National Guard units. Must be willing/eligible to join the Wyoming Army National Guard as a military member prior to appointment to position.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:
Must possess at least 36 months experience analyzing problems, identifying significant factors, gathering pertinent data, and recognizing solutions; preparing reports, plans, policies, and various correspondence; evaluating objectives and develop plans to facilitate the availability and effective utilization of various resources. Must have knowledge of the organization and its mission and utilized the organizational staff procedures. Experience directing administrative services (personnel, supply management, budget, facilities management, or similar) which support and directly affect the operations of a large or complex multi-mission military installation, an organization of similar magnitude, or a group of organizations which supports individual and collective training for a brigade.
AND
Experience in managing the function of the work to be performed. Experience which includes leading, directing and assigning work of personnel.
NOTE: Specialized Experience will be used to determine qualifications for the announced position. Applicants must provide from (e.g., 02/2015 - 03/2017 or Feb 2017 - Mar 2017) dates and hours worked per week with description of your specialized experience on the resume.
