- Serve as the Supervisory Program Manager within the Grants Management Division (GMD) with full supervisory authority and assist the Director of Grants Management in providing overall leadership for strategic programs management.
- Provide program management direction and oversight of the implementation of new grants programs at NIST and other DOC programs, including but not limited to programs funded by the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA) and Creating Helpful Incentives to Produce Semiconductors for America Act (CHIPS) and Science Act of 2022 (CHIPS).
- Direct the development of policy, processes and procedures, and guidance to establish new grant programs e.i., CHIPS Act and IIJA.
- Lead key aspects of a Grants Management systems (i.e., SalesForce) implementation and modernization.
- Direct, oversee, and evaluate overall work accomplishment of staff. Reviews projects, reports, group, and individual performance for consistency with policies, regulations, adequacy, timeliness, and effective utilization of resources.

A supervisory probationary period may be required.
