This position is located at the USPFO in Phoenix, Arizona. This is an Army National Guard Dual status technician position. Dual Status technician require military membership, compatible military skill assignment and classification. The primary purpose of this position is to provide management oversight and guidance to the budget formulation and execution process.

Military Grades: SSG/E6 - MSG/1SG/E8, 2LT/O1 - CPT/O3 or WO1/W1 - CW4/W4
Compatible Military Assignments: Possess or able to obtain the MOS of: Enlisted: 36B or 42A; Warrant Officer: 420A; Officer: 36A or 42B
GENERAL EXPERIENCE: All series personnel must be certified at the next higher level before being eligible for that level and must have a minimum of one year on-the-job experience in the grade immediately below the next higher level. An applicant must have a validated understanding of the basic principles and concepts of the occupational series and grade.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: To qualify for the GS-0560-11 position, the candidate must be eligible for entry into the position's financial management certification career program based on the position's GS-grade and/or the candidate's military rank before final approval and appointment is processed. A candidate must have at least 24 months of finance budget experiences and competencies that provided knowledge of financial principles and procedures. Candidate must have an excellent understanding of the basic principles and concepts of the National Guard financial budget business program requirements. A candidate must have experiences and training that demonstrates the abilities to follow directions, to read, retain, and understand a variety of instructions, regulations, policies and procedures.
You must provide transcripts or other documentation to support your Educational claims. To receive credit for Education, you must provide documentation of proof that you meet the Education requirements for this position.

3. Ability to prepare quarterly resource management reports, monthly analysis of financed orders in relation to forecasting expenses and provides narrative explanation of the causes of variances between actual and budget objectives.
4. Ability to review transactions including reservations, obligations, and disbursements based on interpretation of laws, regulations, or policy.
5. Knowledge to provide technical budgetary advice and assistance to federal and state agencies as requested.
