To ensure compliance with an applicable preliminary nationwide injunction, which may be supplemented, modified, or vacated, depending on the course of ongoing litigation, the Federal Government will take no action to implement or enforce the COVID-19 vaccination requirement pursuant to Executive Order 14043 on Requiring Coronavirus Disease 2019 Vaccination for Federal Employees. Federal agencies may request information regarding the vaccination status of selected applicants for the purposes of implementing other workplace safety protocols, such as protocols related to masking, physical distancing, testing, travel, and quarantine.
This position is with the Department of Homeland Security, within U.S. Customs and Border Protection, U.S. Border Patrol in the sectors as listed below. At time of application you will be able to select a preferred duty station as it is anticipated that vacancies will be available at the time of final offer. Physical Requirement: This position has physical requirements. You must certify in your application assessment that you meet the physical standards of the position. Work Environment: Work involves moderate risk depending on current assignment or discomfort that may require special safety precautions. Employees may be required to use protective clothing or gear.
Shift Work: You will be required to perform work on a shift and rotational basis.
Overtime: Overtime will not be regularly scheduled; however, you must be available to work overtime on an unscheduled basis in excess of the 40-hour work week.
